Here it is, we finally got to talk to the star of the Joe Schmo Show, Mr. Chase Rogan! And what a great guest he was! Hearing his thoughts and reactions to what was going on around him was great, so you’re all in for a real treat on this on. Oh, and find out how Dan from last season’s Big Brother influenced his game! That’s a NotMakeFriends scoop!
Woo! Allison and Bryan are talking to Nikki McKenzie AKA Allison the Overachiever from the latest season of the Joe Schmo Show! Nikki was so much fun to talk to! Find out exactly what she was thinking while being called out by Chase as well as what it is like to work with and flip out on Randy, the Asshole. After listening to this episode I’m sure you’ll agree, it would’ve been nice to have Allison hang around at least one more episode.
Allison and Bryan get the extreme pleasure of talking to J. Holland Moore, an executive producer and writer on the latest season of the Joe Schmo Show. J. Holland is no stranger to reality television, he’s been a writer on Joe Schmo from the very first season as well has worked on Big Brother and the Bachelor among others. He’s got a lot of behind the scenes stories to tell from the set of Joe Schmo and also from working in reality television in general! Also he’s a great guy and was a lot of fun to talk to!
Allison and Bryan are here for the second time this week talking to the crew behind the wonderful stand up comedy documentary “Dying to Do Letterman”. We have the producers Joke & Biagio as well as the star at the center of the film, Steve Mazan. It is a great and short little interview that is more than worth your time to check out. Also, if you’re in the Los Angeles area you should totally get tickets for the screening on Dec 18th in North Hollywood. Find out how here: http://www.DyingToDoLetterman.com/NoHo Hope to see all of you!
Check out the below video for a super surprise about a very special guest who will be at our 12/18/12 screening of Dying To Do Letterman at the Laemmle 7 in North Hollywood, CA! Click here to buy your tickets!
Steve Mazan himself will be at our screening! Can you believe it? We currently need to sell 66 more tickets so, much like voting, your ticket counts. You can purchase your tickets here!
Thanks so much to Tugg and the entire Dying To Do Letterman team for all their hard work. Come out and see the film, meet Steve Mazan, and meet us as well (we’ll be checking everyone in and handing out I’m Not Here To Make Friends swag!).
I’m Not Here To Make Friends may SEEM like we are two anti-social sarcastic jerks on our show and reviews but deep down….deep deep down…we love meeting fans, hosting events, and helping promote our friends events.
On 12/18/12 starting at 7:30 PM in North Hollywood, CA at the Laemmle’s Noho 7 we will be hosting a screening of the Joke and Biagio film Dying To Do Letterman.
When 35 year old stand-up comedian Steve Mazan learned he had cancer, and might only have five years to live, he dedicated his life living his dream: performing comedy on The Late Show with David Letterman. Winner at Cinequest film festival, Cleveland international film festival, and the just for laughs comedy festival.
The name Joke and Biagio may seem familiar if you are a long time fan of the show. We got to interview them at Comic Con 2010 (why not give it a watch?) about their show Scream Queens on VH1. They also went on to produce Rhett and Link Commercial Kings on IFC. These two are the bomb-diggity (did I just type that?!).
Steve Mazan is also quickly becoming one of my favorite people. Not only is he hilarious but he was born and raised in Chicago (just like your fearless hosts here!). The guy has an emmy for his writing and his standup is amazing. You can’t help but fall in love with him while at the same time laughing your butt off.
Tickets are only $12 and you can purchase them here . We will be there to check everyone in and hand out some I’m Not Here To Make Friends swag. The catch to this is, that as of the time of this post, we need 66 more people to purchase tickets for the event by 12/11/12. So don’t sit there thinking your ticket doesn’t matter. It does!
The time has come! I was only playing with you before, but now… (gasp!) it is time for Allison and Bryan to cover the final episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars! It is quite an episode, both the show and the podcast, so you know it is going to be a fun listen!
